Sloe Scarlet

The Original Gin Cocktail Competition Runner Up 2024

‘Sloe Scarlet’ – Brett Nebauer

From: 11e cave, Canberra, Australia

You will need…

40ml Hayman’s Sloe Gin
20ml Fino Sherry
5ml agave syrup
1.25ml Peychaud’s Bitters
3 dash Tempus Fugit Crème De Menthe
27.5ml Verjuice

Steps to make…

Add all ingredients to a chilled mixing glass, add ice and stir for about 10-12 seconds. Strain and pour into a chilled coupe glass. Garnish with a red sorrel leaf carefully floated on top.
