The story of Hayman’s Old Tom

Following calls from bartenders wanting to revive the classic gin cocktails such as the Martinez, Tom Collins and Ramos Gin Fizz – Hayman’s launched our Old Tom Gin distilled to our family recipe from the 1860s.   Since then, Hayman’s Old Tom Gin has been a pre-requisite on cocktail menus across the world.

What is Old Tom Gin?

Old Tom is the original style of London gin, initially popular in 18th Century England. As a gin, it has a rich, rounded and bold profile with a light sweetness – and is more botanically intense than the London Dry style. Known as the bartender’s favourite, Hayman’s Old Tom gives a distinguished character to many classic gin cocktails.

How is it made?

Made over two full days to our family recipe dating back to the 1860s, Hayman’s Old Tom is made with a greater quantity of botanicals for intensity of flavour.
