Specific Terms

NAME OF PROMOTION

Hayman’s Gin – The Original Day Out Competition 2025

OPENING/CLOSING DATE & TIME

The opening date for entries is 1st May 2025

The closing date of the prize draw is 00:00 on 1st December 2025.

Entries received after this time will not be considered.

HOW TO ENTER

To enter, purchase a bottle of Hayman’s London Dry Gin (70cl) from any Waitrose or Sainsbury’s store and scan the QR code on the inside of the neck tag during the promotional period using your smartphone/mobile device.

Follow the on-screen instructions to enter and answer the question: Where is Hayman’s distilled?

You will then be entered into the draw for your chance to win The Original Day Out in London prize. There is only one prize to be won, and the winner will be drawn at random.

PRIZE

The Original Day Out in London prize is for two people which includes the following:

  • Travel expenses to the value of £500
  • Overnight accommodation for two (one room) with breakfast at The Covent Garden Hotel.
  • £1000 spending money to spend at an iconic London department store such as Selfridges, Liberty or Harrods.
  • Afternoon tea for two at The Covent Garden Hotel to the value of £200
  • Hayman’s Distillery tour valued at £50
  • A Cocktail & Dining experience for two to the value of £200
  • A West End show to the value of £300

Total prize value £3000

Prize may vary depending on availability, but the monetary value will remain the same.

WINNER NOTIFICATION

The winner will be notified on the 2nd December 2025 by email from Hayman’s Gin: distillers@hayman.co.uk

The winner will be drawn based on a correct skill-based answer to the question Where is Hayman’s Gin distilled?

The winner must be a UK resident and be over the age of 18. Proof of age may be required.

The prize will be sent to the winner via email. It is the responsibility of the prize winner to organise their ‘The Original Day Out’ prize at a date & time that is suitable to them.

Hayman’s Gin will provide travel expenses & spending money and vouchers for prize recipient to book themselves.  Any vouchers will have an expiry of 12 months and travel expenses & spending money will be paid into the prize winners bank account by way of a bank transfer.

Any additional expense will be the prize recipient’s responsibility.

  1. These general terms and conditions apply in addition to the Specific terms and conditions above. Together, they shall be referred to as the “terms and conditions”.
  2. Participants must meet any eligibility requirements contained in the Specific Terms and Conditions above. The promotion is open to all UK residents aged 18 years or over, except employees of the Promoter, their families (including live-in partners), agents or any third party directly associated with the administration of this promotion.
  3. If the prize remains unclaimed, the Promoter shall not be obliged to allocate that prize but may withdraw it from the promotion and use it as it sees fit.
  4. The prize for the winner is non-exchangeable, non-transferable and no cash alternative is offered.
  5. The Promoter reserves the right to replace the prize with an alternative prize of equal or higher value if circumstances beyond the Promoter’s control makes it necessary to do so.
  6. The decision of the Promoter regarding any aspect of the prize draw is final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into about it.
  7. The Promoter must make available information that indicates that a valid award took place. To comply with this obligation the Promoter will send the surname and county of the prize winner, to anyone who contacts them (enclosing a self-addressed envelope) within one month after the closing date. If you object to any or all of your surname, county and winning entry being published or made available, please contact the Promoter. In such circumstances, the Promoter must still provide the information and winning entry to the Advertising Standards Authority upon request.
  8. Participants are deemed to have accepted and agreed to be bound by these terms and conditions upon entering. The Promoter reserves the right to refuse entry, or refuse to award the prize to anyone in breach of these terms and conditions.
  9. The Promoter reserves the right to hold void, cancel, suspend, or amend the promotion where it considers it necessary to do so, without prior notice. Participants are responsible for reviewing the terms and conditions before entering any Promotion.
  10. Insofar as is permitted by law, the Promoter, its agents or distributors will not in any circumstances be responsible or liable to compensate the winner or accept any liability for any loss, damage, personal injury or death occurring as a result of taking up the prize except where it is caused by the negligence of the Promoter, its agents or distributors or that of their employees. Your statutory rights are not affected.
  11. Personal data supplied during the course of this promotion will only be processed as set out in the Promoter’s privacy policy.
  12. The prize draw will be governed by English law and entrants to the prize draw submit to the jurisdiction of the English courts.
