“And since gin to artifice bears the same relation as tears to mascara, her attractions at once dissembled…”

Truman Capote, Breakfast at Tiffany’s

There’s no room for artifice in our world of gin… So, we ask you, is there a better way to celebrate True English Gin than by spending a Bank Holiday Weekend in London’s only pop-up cinema housed within a working distillery?

For five evenings in May, we’re converting our distillery into a gin-themed pop-up cinema AKA, you guessed it, Ginema. We’re opening the doors of the Home of English Gin to cinema and gin lovers alike from Thursday 24th – Monday 28th May for five evenings of classic films, each paired with cocktails inspired by the on-screen antics.

So if your current plans for the May Bank Holiday weekend involve lying at home watching Netflix, why not laze around in our home and watch a Hollywood great with gin cocktails to boot? Watch Tom Cruise master the New York bar scene of the 80s; relish the fact that no stag do could be quite as skin-crawlingly painful as Bradley Cooper’s; wish for the thousandth time that Jay Gatsby was real and that you’d been invited to one of his parties; wonder how Audrey Hepburn stayed upright under the weight of those pearls, or imagine a world in which you’d be able to share a drink with Humphrey Bogart…

Welcome G&Ts will be poured at 7pm and the screenings will start at 7.30pm. Some gin-themed gifts will be waiting on your beanbag chair for when the screening begins, including London Dry Gin popcorn and a £5 off voucher for our distillery tours. We’ll serve up two cocktails during the course of the screening, so don’t worry, you won’t go thirsty.

Tickets to our series of Ginema screenings cost £35 and are bookable through our tours page.
